Everytime I think this website is as big as it needs to be, it turns out we need another page, and another, to cover all the aspects of what MPU does as an organisation. It's getting quite enormous, and still growing. Well now, I guess we don't specifically need a blog on the site but we thought it might be fun to have a page that was filled by guest writers.
For example the editor of our Poam newsletter/magazine might like to share some of her thoughts on the process of putting the mag together.
Or one of our feature poets might like to tell you a story about the greatest poem they ever wrote and then left in the seat pocket of an aeroplane between Belize and Guangzhou (for example).
Or one of our audience members might like to share an experience of attending a particular event.
Or the webmaster might just feel like having a bit of a whinge that week.
Could be anything really. Mainly we'd like to focus on giving our members a place to put their thoughts down in a public and commentable forum. Let's get some discussion happening. Keep your eye on this space as it becomes fill to the brim with tall tales and true.
Got an idea for a blog post already, just popped into your head as you were reading? Pitch it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with 'blog post' in the subject line and if we think it's a bit fascinating then we'll run with it. So make it a bit fascinating.
