It's been and continues to be a year of parties for MPU. An organisation only turns 40 once after all. In September we are back with a bang at Hares & Hyenas, one of our very favourite place to read, listen and drink a butt of sack*.
This time we're not only celebrating MPU's 40th. We are in fact celebrating the fact that our members are wicked talented and constantly achieving meaningful things.
Confirmed for the night are: Adibeh Abdo Attia
and that wonderful artist known as MORE TBA (soon)
Plus Open Mic for yourself to get up and toot your own horn
Come along, let's get glam!
*It's not as dirty as it sounds. This is actually an archaic expression used in Shakespeare's The Tempest and representative of a large part of Poet Laureate's payment in bygone days. It's a wooden cask of wine is what it is.
